Vegetable Oil:

WE ALWAYS NEED GREASE!!! It has been quite a struggle to find WVO at times. Most restaurants now have companies that will buy back their waste to be used in creating bio-diesel, leaving none for the little people like us. So, whether you are a restaurant or someone who filters your own waste vegetable oil at home, we would love to have you contribute your waste or extra oil to the trip. again, we would be more than happy to acknowledge your donation with a mention on this blog and/or link.

Keep in mind: Our tank will hold about 40 gallons, and we will be carrying an additional 20 or so gallons extra in containers, so the maximum we can accept at any one time is about 60 gallons.

The best quality oil is fryer oil that has not been used for animal products (like french fry, tortilla, or doughnut fryer oil). If your fryer oil was used for meat, that’s fine too, but please no grill grease!
